About Me
I am a board certified anesthesiologist and faculty member at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. I am also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and have won awards for patient safety initiatives at UNC and Mission Health System in Asheville, NC.
I completed medical school and residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, worked as a researcher at the Mayo Clinic, and was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to conduct research in Paris, France. My research accomplishments include co-authorship of more than 25 peer-reviewed publications and numerous presentations at scientific conferences.
